Wellness Challenge — Spring ‘22

Over a week ago, I created a new wellness challenge for myself. I love creating challenges here and there to get motivated and excited for the new season to come. Spring is coming around the corner which means the days will be sunnier and a little bit longer. With this, I want to feel refreshed and use these longer days to be more active. After indulging during the holiday/winter season - rightfully so - I want to get back to the basics and incorporate more seasonal, whole foods into my diet. In this challenge, my focus is to feel more energized and strong. 

If you are wanting some motivation and want to join in on the fun, here are my current wellness goals! 

  1. Walk 10K steps a day 

  2. Stretch daily 

  3. Eat more whole foods 

  4. Lift heavier weights + increase number of strength sessions a week

That’s it! Plain and simple. Whenever I create fitness goals it usually goes towards building an overall healthier lifestyle. I love making goals that are realistic and can be achieved time and time again. And if for some reason I don’t hit these goals, that’s okay! I believe in giving myself grace. Life happens! For the most part, these are my goals that I want to focus on for this season. I love moving my body. I love eating whole foods. Stretching is important to prevent injury and also good for your overall health. I would love to lift heavier weights because I want to challenge myself and get stronger.
