Alicia’s Guide to Miami

The Best Restaurants, Places to Visit, and Fashion Picks for Your Next Trip!

Miami, the city of vibrant energy, music, food, and fashion, is one of my favorite places to visit in the United States. As a frequent visitor to this city, I have compiled a guide to help you plan your next trip to Miami. From my favorite restaurants to my fashion recommendations, I have got you covered!

If you are looking for a healthy and delicious breakfast or lunch, Pura Vida should be your first stop. Their bowls, sandwiches, smoothies, and lattes are a must-try. For an Italian feast, visit Casa Tua Cucina, especially the Brickell City Centre location for a casual lunch, or their primary restaurant in Miami Beach for a more upscale dinner. If you want to explore authentic Peruvian cuisine, head to Ceviche 105 or La Mar, classic restaurants that have been serving traditional Peruvian dishes for years.

For a casual yet delicious dinner, Planta is an all-vegan restaurant that you must try. Their Torched and Pressed Roll, Bang Bang Broccoli, and Pad Thai Slaw are my favorites. Osaka Miami is my absolute favorite restaurant in Miami. It's a Nikkei restaurant meaning that it serves Japanese Peruvian fusion cuisine. Their salmon nigiri "Katsu", scallop nigiri "Hotate Truffle", Nikkei Salad, and Chilcano cocktail are next level good! Another Nikkei restaurant I love is INTIMO. It’s the sister restaurant to Ceviche 105. It’s a perfect dinner vibe with friends, family, and for a date night with your significant other. My favorite things to order are their “Inti Maki” Roll, any one of their ceviches, and their grilled octopus “Pulpo Mochicha”.

Apart from food, Miami has a lot to offer. Visit the Wynwood district to see the colorful murals and experience the art scene. The Design District is another must-visit place, especially if you are into fashion and luxury brands. To walk around with shops and restaurants, I like visiting Coconut Grove and the Brickell City Centre. If you want to head to the beach, I always recommend Key Biscayne and South Pointe Miami Beach. And you MUST stop by the 1 Hotel in Miami Beach for their Wave Colada, you won’t regret it!

Miami is a city that encourages you to celebrate life which is why I love dressing up in vibrant colors and enjoying the nightlife. Komodo, Papi Steak, Prime 112, Swan, SexyFish, and Kiki On The River are some of the places that offer great food and a fun vibe. Whether you're looking for a casual lunch or a fancy dinner, Miami has something for everyone. So pack your bags and get ready to explore this amazing city!
